Hebereke Enjoy Edition announced

Hebereke Enjoy Edition

City Connection has announced Hebereke Enjoy Edition, a new and updated version of SUNSOFT’s classic action game Hebereke.

Hebereke Enjoy Edition is launching on March 28th on Switch for 1,490 yen and will include both Japanese and English language support.

The new version is being released to celebrate the launch of its sequel, Ufouria: The Saga 2, which launches today, February 29th, for Windows PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch, with an Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5 release coming later.

The original version of the game was supposed to come west as Ufouria: The Saga (known as Hebereke へべれけ in Japan) across Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4. It remains unclear if the original version is still coming west or this new version will replace it.

Here’s a rundown on the game, plus its reveal trailer:

A long time ago, this world, which was just a rough place, one day started a big war.

The battle affected the surrounding world, and time and space were twisted and the world collapsed.

The main character, Hebe, is attacked by a battle and falls into a rift in space and time.

Hebe was heartbroken, but eventually regained his composure and decided to begin an adventure to return to his own world.
