Headup Games showcases upcoming titles at Gamescom 2023

laika: aged through blood Symphonia Soulslinger: Envoy of Death

Indie publisher Headup Games is showcasing three new upcoming titles for Gamescom 2023.

You can view the announcements below.

Symphonia:

GF Nominee Symphonia, which Headup plans to release in early 2024 for PC and console, is a 2D platforming game that was the first of its kind to win a BAFTA award. In Symphonia, you take on the role of Philemon, a figure equipped only with a violin bow, which they use in the game’s platforming elements to move around the world while playing their violin to bring ancient mechanisms of the world back to life. The gorgeous world of Symphonia is hand-drawn and traditionally animated and features a powerful score.

Soulslinger: Envoy of Death:

Soulslinger: Envoy of Death is a Rogue-Lite First-person Shooter set for a Q4 2023 release via Steam’s Early Access. The game places you in the dusty boots of a Soulslinger — a gunslinger trapped in Limbo and entangled in a gritty war against The Cartel, a ruthless criminal organization bent on domination. Harvest souls, use their energy to boost your powers, craft weapons and gear, and interact with NPCs while fighting out of the afterlife.

Laika: Aged Through Blood:

Laika: Aged Through Blood is a western-inspired “motorvania” set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland. It is the story of a tribe oppressed by occupant forces and the personal story of a mother coyote warrior who descends on an endless path of vengeance to take back what her people lost.

Laika: Aged Through Blood is releasing at some point for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows (through Steam). Soulslinger: Envoy of Death is coming early 2024 for Microsoft Windows (through Steam). Symphonia is coming early 2024 for Nintendo Switch and Microsoft Windows (through Steam).
