Sega has announced Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Mega39’s.
The next game in the popular music-rhythm series is coming to Nintendo Switch, and is developed by Sega AM Research & Development No. 2. A release is set for sometime early next year in Japan.
The new game features 101 songs (100 songs plus a newly written theme song just for the game), over 300 costumes (modules), as well as new game modes just for Switch. Featured above, you can view a new trailer for the game (the trailer is for the 10th anniversary, but has a short teaser for the game).
Songs confirmed thus far include:
- “39 Music!” by Mikito-P (new song for the series)
- “Alien Alien” by Nayutan Seijin (new song for the series)
- “Decorator” by Kz
- “Odds & Ends” by Ryo
- “Rolling Girl” by Wowaka
It’s worth mentioning two of the above songs are from ten songs making their debut in the series. These ten new songs will also be made available later for Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone and Hatsune Miku: Project Diva Future Tone DX as a paid DLC sometime next year.
