Hashihime of the Old Book Town Append

Dramatic Create has announced Hashihime of the Old Book Town Append, a Nintendo Switch port of the “mysterious and psychedelic” boys love visual novel.

Originally developed by Adelta, the boys love visual novel is coming to Nintendo Switch on December 16th, via the eShop and retail in Japan. The game’s official website mentions Japanese, Chinese, and English subtitles, suggesting a worldwide release.


The Switch version will include brand new content from the original writer, Rinko Kurosawa, as well as a new key visual (seen above), new voice save and glossary mechanics, and a brief story after the main story where the potential love interests are playable.

A pop-occult boy’s love mystery pursuing the truth behind a friend’s death. “Hashihime of the Old Book Town”, will be ported to Nintendo Switch!

Set in the Taisho era, in Jinbouchou of Tokyo. After the death of his best friend, our protagonist is caught up in a mysterious three days time loop……

Set in the unique and colourful world of Taisho era, with the blend of Japanese and Western influences. An occult mystery in this world where historical facts overlap with fictional elements revolving the drama of unique and fascinating characters.

Story

In June of 1922, after the death of his best friend, Tamamori, an unemployed student who works as a live-in employee at the old book store “Umebachi-dou” in Jinbouchou, is caught up in a mysterious phenomenon that takes him back three days in time…….

Hashihime of the Old Book Town was originally released for Windows PC  back in 2016 in Japan, followed by a PS Vita release in 2018 and finally an English / Steam release in 2019.
