Harmonix and Tilting Point have released a new virtual pet simulator, dubbed simply Beatniks.

The game is, as expected (from Harmonix’s pedigree) music-based, meaning whatever music you use via your phone will directly affect your Beatniks – those goofy looking creatures in the above trailer.

Players will be able to fully customize their Beatniks with a variety of 100+ clothing articles (all based on various musical genres), as well as different mini-games, dance sessions, and more.
