Harebrained Schemes (Shadowrun Returns) have announced the date when their recently announced BattleTech game will be hitting Kickstarter.

Fans can expect the game to hit Kickstarter and get a full reveal on September 29th. The game is a PC-bound reboot of the series, the first turn-based game in the series in over two decades. A new piece of concept artwork was revealed to celebrate the Kickstarter’s launch date, which you can view above.

Harebrained Schemes describe the game as one set in the “feudal political intrigue” of the BattleTech universe, coupled with an open-ended “Mercenaries-style” campaign that mashes RPG ‘Mech and MechWarrior management with modern turn-based combat.
