The real-time strategy game will launch for PC via Steam on April 20th. Featured above, you can view a new trailer for the game’s Steam release.
The last game to be released by the beloved Ensemble Studios, Halo Wars was originally released for the Xbox 360 back in 2009. It was later ported to Windows PC (exclusive to the Windows Store) and Xbox One in December of last year as Halo Wars: Definitive Edition.
The game’s sequel, Halo Wars 2, was released in February of this year for Xbox One and PC.

Network play for this product is exclusive to Steam. Cross-play with Windows Store versions of the same game is not supported.
