Publisher Microsoft and developer 343 Industries has announced they’re bringing Halo: The Master Chief Collection to Windows PC.
The re-release of the classic Halo trilogy is coming to Windows PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store), what’s more – Microsoft is adding Halo: Reach to both the PC release and the Xbox One version.
Originally released for Xbox One back in 2014, the re-release includes: Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 3: ODST (Campaign), and Halo 4 – and now Halo: Reach.
Instead of releasing every game at the same time on PC, Microsoft is going to roll the games out starting with Halo: Reach. After that, the games will be released in chronological order.
The Xbox One release for Halo: Reach is coming in two parts: the Campaign and Firefight portions are coming as paid DLC – the multiplayer component is coming as a free update.
Release dates for Halo: The Master Chief Collection on PC weren’t announced.
