Halo Infinite Multiplayer Beta Now Available

Halo Infinite Multiplayer Beta

Publisher Microsoft have announced the early launch of Season 1 and the Halo Infinite multiplayer beta.

Five years after the events of Halo 4, players must stop the Banished on the Zeta Halo, and find out what happened to Cortana. As previously reported, the game is open world, as players can tackle objectives in any order they wish. This will include taking down Banished bases, rescuing allies, finding new weapons, vehicles, equipment; and more.

Celebrating the series 20th anniversary today, the Halo Infinite multiplayer beta will support the Season 1 Battle Pass, and all day 1 maps. All progress made will also carry into the full game. Season 1 will last until May 2022; extending the original three-month season length as the devs prepare for Season 2. Additional events, customization items, and other content have been added from the original plans as well.

Those who log-in during the first week will unlock a free collection of 20th anniversary themed cosmetics, with the Fracture: Tenrai event starting November 23rd.

You can find the Season 1: Heroes of Reach launch trailer below.

Halo Infinite fully launches Holiday 2021 on Windows PC (via the Microsoft StoreSteam), Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. The game will also be available on Xbox Game Pass.
