Halloween film franchise getting two games with John Carpenter “intimately involved”

Halloween games

Boss Team Games, the studio behind Evil Dead: The Game, have announced two new games based on the iconic Halloween horror film franchise.

Details are scant but the two new Halloween games are being produced by Boss Team Games in conjunction with producers of the films. The games are being developed in association with Compass International Pictures and Further Front.

The games hope to “relive moments from the film” while letting you “play as classic characters from one of the most iconic and important horror films of all time.”

Furthermore, both games are being built within Unreal Engine 5 (via IGN) and original film director John Carpenter is actually overseeing the game and providing input.

“As a huge gamer myself, I’m thrilled to help bring Michael Myers to life again in this game, and my hope is to scare you silly,” Carpenter said. The project has Carpenter “intimately involved” with its development.
