The magazine has a spread on the female character that is critical to the opening and story of this chapter, as well as the first details on the protagonist Haseo’s 5th form – which is getting first introduced in this chapter. As he grows in power, he’s able to utilize more weapons.
The new chapter follows Haseo as he logs into The World R:2 for the first time in a year and three months, following the events of .hack//G.U. Vol. 3: Redemption.
He uncovers a frozen Ovan in a large cave within Qua Holme. He tries to break the ice, but unfortunately he’s too weak. So, he gathers up his former companions and goes out on a new adventure to rescue Ovan.
