Adult Swim Games have announced Samurai Jack: Battle Through Time, developed by Soleil Games.
The announcement (via IGN) explains how the game is set before the finale of Samurai Jack. Jack fights through “several different timelines” to find and defeat the shape-shifting master of darkness, Aku. Series Head Writer Darrick Bachman will be working on the script for the game.
The hack-and-slash game will allow Jack to wield more than just his katana, utilizing “a variety of different melee and ranged weapons.” Soleil Games are from Japan, and are made of former Ninja Gaiden, and Dead or Alive developers.
