    Fan translators passionate for the .hack series have managed to finish their English translation of .hack//Link, a task that allegedly took 12 years to accomplish.

    .hack//Link was a game for the PlayStation Portable (PSP) that launched back in 2010, and since then, there has been no English release.


    A post for the fan-translation chronicles the progress of the project, dating back as far as 2011. After 12 years, the translation has progressed to the point of being fully playable in English.

    One of the individuals responsible for the patch relayed a message on Discord:

    The latest version of the English fan patch is 2.0.1, and it is available now.
