Eastasiasoft and developer Lillymo Games have announced retro shoot ’em up sequel Habroxia 2, alongside its release date.
As stated in the press release and on the Eastasiasoft website, the game will launch on February 3rd for Windows PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One.
The game is a non-linear old-school space shooter- complete with upgrades, ship customization, branching stages, boss fights, New Game+, and retro graphics and music. The game also features revamped twin-stick controls.
Eastasiasoft note they will be publishing the game on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in Asia and Japan, along with porting and worldwide digital publishing on Steam, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. In addition, the original Habroxia is also available now on Xbox One via Eastasiasoft.
Further, Eastasiasoft state the game’s PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita Limited Editions will be available via Playasia. The Limited Edition includes the game, its manual, soundtrack CD, and numbered certificate in a collector’s box. Pre-orders are available now for $34.99 USD. A limited edition of Eastasiasoft’s visual novel My Aunt is a Witch is also available for pre-order via Playasia.
