Have you ever wondered what it would be like to go into space? How about create a space ship out of the Statue of Liberty’s head? If you have ever thought either of those things than Habitat is the game for you!
Habitat is an orbital strategy game being developed by 4gency. It will be released for PC, Mac, Linux, and Xbox One and is currently on kickstarter.
The goal in Habitat is to save humanity by building space habitats out of debris that are orbiting the Earth. 4gency says if it’s in orbit it can be made into a habitat.
All you need to do is connect two things such as a school bus and a rocket and you have a moving habitat. You can add as much debris to your habitat to make it as large as you want or you can just keep it small.
Of course you are not the only one building in outer space. You will have to battle other space adventurers to make sure your habitat stays safe.
Smashing into other space stations looks like it is going to be a blast and after destroying the enemy ship, you can collect the wreckage and once again add more to your habitat.
Habitat looks like a beautiful game with a revolutionary concept. It is on kickstarter until Friday May 2nd and is currently $20,000 away from their target goal.
