Bandai Namco has announced Gundam Evolution is shutting down this fall.

The free-to-play hero shooter is shutting down on November 29th, a little over a year since its full launch last fall. A final livestream is set to kick off on July 21st at 11 PM Pacific / 2 AM Eastern.

Gundam Evolution has been available on Windows PC (via Steam), with PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series XIS.

“It is with great sadness that we are announcing the conclusion of Gundam Evolution,” executive producer Kazuya Maruyama said. “We wanted to create a title that brought FPS fans and Gundam fans together. We challenged ourselves to create an authentic Gundam FPS game that could be played globally. Unfortunately, we have determined that it is no longer possible for us to provide a service that satisfies our players.”
