Gun Gun Pixies Listed as “Adults Only” on Steam

While Gun Gun Pixies is set for a release on PC and consoles, the game’s PC release has gotten the dreaded “adults only” label.

The game’s Windows PC release is coming via Steam, and Valve has marked the game as “Adults Only”, meaning it will be softly delisted from most regular searches and categories unless users have adult content always enabled to be shown on their platform.

Upon viewing the game’s Steam page, you’re greeted with the following message:

This game is marked as ‘adult only’. You are seeing this game because you have agreed to continue to this page.

The Steam page also has a slightly expanded upon explanation:

The developers describe the content like this:

This Game may contain content not appropriate for all ages, or may not be appropriate for viewing at work: Partial Nudity, Sexual Content.

A public rating for the game on the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) or Pan European Game Information (PEGI) rating boards hasn’t been published yet.

The “crazy Japanese third-person shooter and 3D platformer” sees two tiny alien anime girls arriving to earth from outer space, only to infiltrate a women’s college dormitory. Their goal: study human behavior so they can overcome the social issues of their home planet.

Gun Gun Pixies is launching on September 6th in North America and Europe, for Windows PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch.
