Arc System Works has announced Guilty Gear Strive: Dual Rulers, a new anime series based on the Guilty Gear franchise, specifically its latest release Guilty Gear Strive.

The new work will be animated by SANZIGEN, who also worked for BanG Dream! and D4DJ First Mix. Here’s a look at the anime’s key art:

No further information has been revealed beyond the fact that Shigeru (You Kou) Morikawa, would be directing the series.

Norimitsu Kaiho (School-Live!, Astra Lost in Space, Akudama Drive) will be the head scriptwriter. Seiji Mizushima (Gundam 00, Fullmetal Alchemist) will be an associate producer.

Further details for the anime will be revealed during Anime Expo in Los Angeles, to be held on July 5 in the anime panel.

Guilty Gear: Strive has been available on Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
