Guilty Gear: Strive DLC Slayer announced

Guilty Gear: Strive

Arc System Works has announced the next Guilty Gear: Strive post-launch DLC character is Slayer, the immortal fan-favorite vampire combatant.

Guilty Gear: Strive is adding Slayer as the next and final Season 3 downloadable content character. He’ll launch on May 30th alongside the new battle stage “Amber Fest with Kind Neighbors.”

Here’s a rundown on the returning character, plus his reveal trailer:

Slayer – (English voice JB Blanc, Japanese voice )

His dukes define dandyism. Laid-back and dignified vampire.

A gentlemanly descendent of vampiric lineage, who enjoys genuine combat and haiku as hobbies.

He abides by his own code of “dandyism” and can take nearly anything in stride. When it comes to battle, however, he wields overwhelming strength in great contrast to his calm demeanor.

Due to his lifespan as a vampire, all events in human society feel trivial to him.

That’s only one facet of him, however, as he finds humans and their turbulent emotions in response to such affairs both enviable and endearing.

He founded the Assassin’s Guild, only to retire after meeting his immortal wife, Sharon.

Currently, he enjoys an untroubled life in retirement with Sharon, occasionally venturing out for some people watching.

New Battle Stage “Amber Fest with Kind Neighbors”

A brand new battle stage is coming to Guilty Gear -Strive- and the townspeople are ready to express their gratitude for the blessing of the aurora. “Amber Fest with Kind Neighbors” invites players to the town from Season Pass 1’s “Another Story”. As a special thank you to the Gears who saved them from the crisis, experience enthralling new light-up decorations.
