We’ve learned (via Dualshockers) that Guerrilla Games are going to have more options for traveling in their upcoming PlayStation 4 action game, Horizon: Zero Dawn.

When speaking with Senior Producer Mark Norris, the developer let slip that the developer is most definitely considering ride-able mounts:

“The reality is, a certain size of the world I think demands a mount, right? We take a look at a world like The Witcher, which is an enormous world, we take a look at a world like Skyrim, which is 41 square kilometers, and they’ve added mounts.

“We take a look at GTA or Saints Row, those are games that have cars, right? So they have “mounts.”

He continued to say they’re not quite ready to talk about how the game’s female protagonist, Aloy, traverses large spreads of land.

“We’re not ready to talk about the different ways that Aloy moves around the world, but what I can guarantee is, it’s not just walking and running. Certainly, she gets around the world in a couple of different ways.”

Are you guys excited for Horizon: Zero Dawn? Would you like to see mounts in the game – presuming they’re ride-able dinosaurs?
