After a brief teaser, Japanese developer Taito has announced Groove Coaster: Future Performers, the latest in their music-rhythm franchise.
Groove Coaster: Future Performers is in development for Nintendo Switch and will launch sometime later this year in Japan.

Unlike the previous titles in the series, Groove Coaster: Future Performers is a completely new title, redesigned from the ground up. New elements have been added to the controls, the music score, and the worldview. The new “GROOVE COASTER” is a must-play game.

- Two play styles to choose from – In Groove Coaster: Future Performers, you can choose from two play styles, “Basic” and “Advanced”, depending on your skill level.
- Visual Expression – Visual Expressions will get more into your favorite songs. Wide viewing angle allows you to immerse yourself in the game! Full screen display in landscape mode. With the greatly improved visual expression, you can enjoy your favorite songs in a world like a music video.
- A full lineup of recorded songs – A wide variety of popular songs including popular J-POP, VTuber, Vocaloid, and Touhou arrangements, as well as many other popular songs will be included.
- Play the world of music – Equipped with a story mode for the first time in the series. Reiji Kawashima, Ayane Sakura, Fubuki Shirakami, and Miko Sakura have joined the game with character voices! Many more characters are scheduled to join the game.
