Focus Home Interactive and NACON have announced that Greedfall will be getting new content, and a release on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.

The game is currently available on Windows PC (via Steam), PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. As stated in the press release, the game will be heading to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. No release date was given at this time, nor if the game would be available via the upgrade system of current gen consoles.

Thanks to a new partnership with NACON the game will also have new content, and the phrasing of the press release did not make it sound as though it would be exclusive to the next-gen platforms.

“The two companies have thus reached an agreement, in which Focus Home Interactive will be in charge of the publishing of the upcoming additional content and expansion, as well as the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series S/X versions of GreedFall. The GreedFall brand is now integrated as part of the NACON portfolio.”

Greedfall combines an American frontier style setting with fantasy elements of magic and monsters. The open world RPG tasks players with discovering the islands mysteries, and help establish a foothold for civilization. In case you missed it, you can find our review of the game here.
