Grasshopper Manufacture teased a new game

We’ve learned Grasshopper Manufacture teased a new game reveal, possibly by the end of 2022 under new parent company NetEase Games.

NetEase Games published a short interview video with the company president and CEO Goichi “Suda 51” Suda, where Grasshopper Manufacture teased a new game reveal.

In the interview, Suda talks up how Grasshopper Manufacture is now receiving a ton of support from NetEase Games, so much so they opened up a brand new studio. Chinese publisher NetEase Games acquired No More Heroes developer Grasshopper Manufacture back in October 2021.

Here’s the interview:

Grasshopper Manufacture’s latest game, No More Heroes III, has been available for Nintendo Switch. In case you missed it – you can find our thorough written and video review for the game here. No More Heroes III is coming to PC (via Steam and the Microsoft Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5 sometime this fall.

No More Heroes III boasts several unique features such as the Slash Reel minigame – reminiscent of new online slot games, 3 spinnable reels appear on screen after executing a Death Blow. Landing 3 icons of the same type activates a new game mode.

We’ll keep you guys posted.
