Publisher GungHo Online Entertainment has confirmed a Nintendo Switch port for both Grandia and Grandia II.
While Grandia II has gotten a high-definition re-release on Windows PC (via Steam), the classic Japanese RPG is getting a proper console re-release alongside its predecessor. The new release is known as Grandia + Grandia II HD Remaster, and it’s set to launch sometime this winter.
Publisher GungHo Online Entertainment, who now own the intellectual property for the series, have confirmed that both Grandia and Grandia II are getting HD re-releases on the Nintendo Switch. While further details weren’t confirmed, the original Grandia is finally getting an HD re-release on Windows PC, via Steam.
Lastly, Grandia + Grandia II HD Remaster will be playable on Switch for the first time at this year’s PAX West.
