Grand Theft Auto 6 rumored to cost $150 on release

Grand Theft Auto 6 Grand Theft Auto VI

Rockstar’s upcoming game is rumored to cost $150 dollars, and may have cost the company over $2 billion.

The Grand Theft Auto 6 leak brought a lot of things up, including incarceration for the leaker, but one of the more interesting pieces of content was a leaked conversation between developers.

The conversation, which originally happened in 2022, states that Grand Theft Auto 6 has been in development since 2014, and has cost Rockstar over $2 billion dollars.

Rockstar has been adamant about removing these leaks from the internet, and has taken legal action against the leaker, which could indicate that there’s some truth to this material.

The leak also indicates that Rockstar plans to price Grand Theft Auto 6 somewhere around the $150 mark on release, to make up for the game’s insane budget.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but Rockstar can expect quite a few complaints from players if they go through with this pricing, as gamers are already unhappy with the recent $70 price tags.

If the $1-2 billion mark is correct, at least now we know those Shark Card microtransactions were being put to good use.

Whether gambling will be a feature like in previous games is still unknown, so players need to settle for EU casinos online websites for now.

Grand Theft Auto 6 has no release date or announced platforms yet, but we’ll keep you updated as soon as anything new comes up.
