Indie developer and traditional animator Jeff Mumm has launched a Kickstarter to raise funding for Guinea Pig Parkour, a love letter to both traditional animation and 90s platformers and cartoons.
The developer is seeking $20,000 to release an Early Access version of the game on Windows PC, however if the Kickstarter reaches $50,000, Jeff will develop and release a full-fledged version of the game. Featured above, you can view the Kickstarter pitch video.
Guinea Pig Parkour is being developed in Construct 3, which can natively export to Windows, Mac, Linux, and Xbox One. The primary release will be Windows, but Mumm is considering releasing the game for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch if “all goes well.”
For now, Jeff is planning an Early Access release by December of 2020. Following this, he will “continue to polish the game” and improve it “until it is ready for official release.”
