Gorgeous Pixel-Platformer Owlboy Now Available for PC

Independent developer D-Pad Studio has finally released their gorgeous pixelated platformer, Owlboy.

Nearly ten years in the making, the game is available on PC via Steam, GOG.com, as well as the Humble Store. Featured above, you can view a launch trailer for the game.

    he needs to port this to the dreamcast. there’s apparently a small community that still makes games for it. we need to push these devs to port their shit to the dreamcast.

    oh and the game looks cool too.

    almost 10 years in development? I hope they can get profit from this game otherwise they’re screwed … . unless they’re already super rich & don’t really need money ..

    No hesitation buying this one.
    Ten year development time sure wont encourage others (especially big name game companies) to follow in their footsteps though.
    But to be fair I’m pretty sure most of the game was made in their spare time rather than being their main focus for ten years straight.

    Some indie devs would definitely be willing to. I believe Retro City Rampage got ported to MS-DOS (and Amiga?)

    At least they made a nice looking game. The US has been fighting in Iraq for 13 years and has nothing to show for it.
