Devolver Digital has released a new batch of gameplay for the upcoming downward-focused shooter, Downwell.

Featured above, you can view the new gameplay from Japanese indie developer Ojiro Fumoto. The key thing here is this is a six-minute plus gameplay video, and it comes blazing in glorious 60-FPS.

The game puts you in the Gunboots of a young boy who dives right into a well, in search of untold treasures. As you progress through the darkness, you’ll encounter nastier creatures and mysterious secrets.

Downwell still doesn’t have a release date, although Devolver Digital says the game is “coming soon.”
