Google Stadia Launches in November, Launch Game Lineup Confirmed

Google has announced the release window, pricing, and initial lineup of games for their upcoming Stadia streaming platform.

Stadia is launching sometime in November of this year, and includes a number of titles available to stream from the get-go. Featured above, you can view a sizzle reel for the platform.

Stadia will come in the following packages:

  • Stadia Pro ($9.99 a month)
    • Resolution: Up to 4K
    • Framerate: 60 FPS
    • Audio: 5.1 surround sound
    • Buy games whenever you want: Yes
    • Additional free games released regularly: Yes, starting with Destiny 2: The Collection
    • Stadia Pro-exclusive discounts on select game purchases: Yes
  • Stadia Base (free) – Launches in 2020
    • Resolution: Up to 1080p
    • Framerate: 60 FPS
    • Audio: Stereo
    • Buy games whenever you want: Yes
    • Additional free games released regularly: No

  • Stadia Founder’s Edition ($129 physical purchase here)
