Publisher Good Smile Company and developer Frontwing have announced KANADE, a new music-themed visual novel they have in development.

KANADE is in development for Windows PC and will launch sometime in 2025 with support for Japanese, English, and Chinese languages.

As mentioned, the new game has “songs” playing an important role in the story and has Asou Ei handling the script. Character designs are being done by Yusano and Akio Watanabe, and music is being done by Fuminori Matsumoto.

Lastly, Good Smile Company and Frontwing announced a new business partnership to develop more visual novels in the future, the first of which is “COCORO”, set to release in 2026 and penned by Konno Astra.
