gone home demake ss 1

It’s starting to become a thing now to “de-make” games into retro, pixelated versions that pay homage to the original in some shape or form.

Gone Home, the atmospheric and nostalgia filled game by The Fullbright Company, is next in line to get de-made. You can also check out our review for Gone Home here, the game is awesome so please check it out.

Seth Macy, an indie developer, announced the existence of the 16 bit de-make via twitter:

Seth started working on making a de-make of the game in RPG Maker XP – all he needed was the developer’s blessing to continue with development. In an email exchange with The Fullbright Company, they instantly thought the idea was awesome, and gave him the go ahead.
