Publisher Atari and co-developers Digital Eclipse and Incredible Technologies have announced Golden Tee Arcade Classics, a new remastered set of the classic Golden Tee games.
Golden Tee Arcade Classics is in development for Windows PC (via Steam and GOG), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PS4, and PS5 on July 17th for $39.99. A physical version will be sold later on October 24th for the same price point.
“Golden Tee is a cultural phenomenon that brought people together in bars and arcades, and with Golden Tee Arcade Classics, we are giving everyone the chance to experience that same fun and competition at home,” said Mike Mika, Chief Creative Officer at Atari in a press release. “We’ve enhanced the games with modern features like practice mode, mulligans, interactive trackball controls and more, giving players new control options tailored to their playstyle. So whether you’re chasing a perfect score and catching up on a few rounds with friends, this collection celebrates everything that makes Golden Tee iconic.”
Incredible Technologies head of amusement marketing Kevin Lindsay added, “Bringing 1990s Golden Tee to consoles has been a passion project—these are the games I grew up on, the ones I walked up to as a kid nearly 30 years ago. Digging through decades of code and art for this project was like unearthing buried treasure. It’s been incredibly rewarding to work with Atari and help breathe new life into this iconic era of Golden Tee Golf.”

A collection of classic Golden Tee arcade games playable for the first time on modern consoles and PCs. Golden Tee Arcade Classics includes six early games that allow players to experience the evolution of the world’s most popular and well-known golf arcade game: Golden Tee 3D Golf, Golden Tee 97, Golden Tee 98, Golden Tee 99, Golden Tee 2K, and Golden Tee Classic. For players who want to show off their arcade and pub-gaming skills, the team also included Shuffleshot and World Class Bowling.
Put your golf skills to the test as you swing your way across challenging courses. Experience the fun of driving, swinging, and putting with controls fine-tuned for a gamepad, touchscreen, touchpad, trackball, or mouse and keyboard, depending on your platform. For the first time in Golden Tee, a practice mode has been added, allowing players to hone their driving, chipping and putting skills. The game’s new Mulligan feature lets players retry shots to perfect their game before competing with others.
