As covered in our previous report, the new Blu-Ray will include all six episodes of the legendary anime based on Tatsuya Egawa’s manga of the same name, remastered. This is the first time the series is being remastered on Blu-ray outside of Japan.

Here’s a rundown on the new release:

Kintaro Oe dropped out of the University of Tokyo to learn through real-world experience. Since then, he’s done it all – from running a political campaign, to spit shining the latest software, and even making anime! However, this wandering student hasn’t exactly done all the boobalicious babes he keeps running into! But if he can solve their jiggly mysteries without swimming too close to the buns – err sun, Kintaro just might save the world!

Studio A.P.P.P. (Project A-ko, Robot Carnival ) sends Director Hiroyuki Kitakubo (Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure, Blood: The Last Vampire) on the bike ride of a lifetime in this beloved adaptation of Tatsuya Egawa’s bawdy sex comedy! This complete collection includes all 6 of the Golden Boy’s highly educational lessons – presented in the original Japanese language with English subtitles alongside the cult classic English dub!

It’s worth mentioning the original standard definition version of Golden Boy has been available to stream via Crunchyroll.
