GOG games will be playable via cloud streaming with new Amazon Luna partnership

GOG games

PC digital distributor GOG has announced a new partnership with none other than Amazon Luna, to bring their titles to the cloud.

Coming sometime “soon”, select GOG titles will be playable through Amazon Luna cloud streaming, and will support cloud saves and achievements between the two services. Players will also be able to purchase games on GOG through the Luna client.

Amazon Luna has been available in most countries and is supported on a number of devices including PC, Mac, smartphones, select LG and Samsung TVs, and of course Amazon’s Fire devices.

Streaming on Amazon Luna will naturally support the Amazon Luna controller, third party controllers like the Xbox One and PS4 offerings, and even mouse and keyboard support. Some titles will also be playable on smartphones.

Amazon Prime subscribers will get access to Luna games every month and Prime Gaming also gives PC games to keep for free, alongside exclusive in-game content each month.
