On March 31, Bandai Namco’s 1.10 update to God Eater 2 RageBurst will be bringing cross-promotional items based on the Assassination Classroom and Tokyo Ghoul franchises to the action roleplaying game.
The update will include masks modeled after Assassination Classroom‘s Koro-Sensei’s various expressions (above); a character hairstyle that mimics Kaede Kayano’s; and Kunugigaoka High school uniforms (below) as new costumes.
The update will also include Tokyo Ghoul items in the form of Ken Kaneki’s mask and Shuu Tsukiyama’s mask (below).
God Eater 2: Rage Burst launched in Japan in February. Although “Rage Burst” has been trademarked in Europe, and a trailer for the game has been published with English subtitles, a Western localization is yet to be announced for the ARPG. An anime adaptation of the video game, in the form of a TV series, will begin airing in Japan this year, in July.
