Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown to Begin Streaming on Crunchyroll July 28

Anime streaming site and producer Crunchyroll announced the premiere date of the Goblin Slayer movie Goblin’s Crown on their streaming service.

Originally announced on Crunchyroll’s official news blog, Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown will become available on the streaming service following a premiere event. The movie premiered earlier this year in select theaters in Japan and the Crunchyroll release coincides with the movie’s Blu-Ray release in Japan.

Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown follows the adventurers from the main series as they track down a missing adventurer. The intrepid Noble Fencer has gone missing after being dispatched to slay goblins in a snowy region of the world; the Goblin Slayer and his companions are her best chance of ever being heard from again.

You can find Nicchiban’s coverage of the movie’s Japanese release this February here, including the original Japanese trailer.

You can watch the official Crunchyroll trailer below.

You can find the rundown (via Crunchyroll) below.

“Please find any information on the Noble Fencer that disappeared after leaving to slay some goblins.”

Goblin Slayer and his party head up to the snowy mountains in the north after receiving that request from the Sword Maiden. A small village gets attacked, they encounter a mysterious chapel, and something about how these goblins are acting bothers the Goblin slayer.

“I’m going to take back everything that I’ve lost!”

In order to save the captured Noble Fencer, the Goblin Slayer and his party head to an ancient fortress covered in snow to face off with a powerful foe and a horde of goblins!

Goblin Slayer was one of the titles that Kinokuniya in Sydney recently pulled the title from shelves, after interference by a South Australian politician.

Goblin Slayer: Goblin’s Crown will premiere on Crunchyroll July 28.
