Goat Simulator Pokes Fun At Survival Games With New DLC

Coffee Stain studios’ popular Goat Simulator series has gained quite a bit of fame thanks to it parodying popular games or game styles in a purposefully slapdash way. Having skewered MMOs with an add-on last year, it seems the team is ready to tackle the survival genre with an upcoming expansion called GoatZ.

A list of its features should give you an idea of what to expect (If the above video doesn’t already)

  • Mandatory crafting system because everyone else is doing it
  • Zombies that bug out. There’s a pun here about actual living bugs, but we’re not going to bother
  • You can craft anything in the world, as long as it’s one of the half dozen weapons in the game
  • Zombies, because this is a zombie game, remember?
  • A pretty big new map with some stuff in it
  • Completely realistic survival mode where you have to eat every damn five minutes to survive because Dean Hall & Garry Newman said so

The new content is due out May 7th and will only set you back $5.
