GNOSIA anime adaptation announced

GNOSIA anime

Anime producer Aniplex has announced a new anime adaptation for GNOSIA, the sci-fi social deduction / murder mystery game from Petit Depotto.

The new GNOSIA anime is currently in production and will air sometime next year, with direct supervision from original creator Toru Kawakatsu (Mezukare).

Here’s some celebratory artwork for the new anime announcement:

Here’s a comment from the original creator, plus a teaser trailer for the anime:

Original Story, Petit de Pot Representative Toru Kawakatsu (Mezukare)

Another world line that could have been. When the producer of Aniplex offered me the chance to work on this animation project with the intention of consuming the original work, I, as a representative of Petit Depot, was determined to finish the project.

Specifically, while working with the members of Petit Depot on the design and worldview, I was deeply involved in the project as a producer, from the start of the animation team formation to the final approval and decision on the content and supervision of the project.

I am always shaken by the quality of the creators who are involved in this work with a tremendous amount of passion, and I have had many heated discussions with the producers at Aniplex, aiming to create a surprise and fun experience that cannot be missed, not even in a single episode, with expressions and images that could not be achieved in a game.

Just as there are as many dramas in a game as there are players, there is a protagonist with a will in the world of anime. I hope that you will weave one of the many possibilities and witness the hero running through the world of Gnosia until the very end.

As a representative of Petit Depot, I am determined to make Gnosia once again a hell of a production, to overcome difficulties with all the people involved in this work, and to grasp the world of stars. Please look forward to it.

GNOSIA the game has been available for Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PS4, and PS5.
