
Publisher Assemble Entertainment and developer Half Soup Labs have announced Glintseeker Island, a cozy single-player spelunking and mining game.
Glintseeker Island is in development for Windows PC (via Steam) with a release set for sometime in 2027. The game is playable right now via its open playtest.

Glintseeker Island is a cozy 2D pixel art mining adventure with RPG elements and a unique excavation mechanic inspired by the Underground of Pokémon Diamond & Pearl and the caves of Stardew Valley.
Players descend into procedurally generated caves to dig up ancient treasures, fight enemies, and face powerful bosses. Loot can be sold or used to upgrade hammers with gemstones, expand backpacks, restore village buildings, and complete quests for villagers. Along the way, players uncover the island’s hidden history and an ancient threat lurking below.
