Bandai Namco recently announced its plan to bring Girl Friend Beta to PS Vita, and now the game has some more concrete details.
It will be set at Seiou Academy; the protagonist will have the ability to interact with eight girls throughout as they meet them for various club activities and other fun outings throughout summer vacation. True to more typical visual novels, conversations and event points throughout the game will help you get closer to the girls. There will be plenty of events to view, and of course summertime means beaches, yukatas, and swimsuits!
While there is no price announced yet, there is a special edition announced which will include:
- The game itself
- Special box art drawn by QP:flapper
- Eight character posters
- Original bonus footage on blu-ray
- Eight PS Vita case jackets featuring the girls in varying outfits
- a product code for the custom PS Vita theme
- Eight cards with special serial codes for the smartphone game
The PS Vita game is due out in the summer in Japan.
