The series follows a group in a fictionalized Edo where the Shogunate surrendered to aliens and they’ve integrated in society. The result is an anachronistic society with samurai, martial arts, but also modern technological amenities like scooters.
While the film will be coming to Japanese retailers on August 4th, at the time of publishing an English release date has yet to be announced.
