When Sony Interactive Entertainment and developer Sucker Punch finally revealed gameplay for their feudal Japanese epic, Ghost of Tsushima, the game’s protagonist and accompanying characters were speaking English.
Amidst ignorant cries of cultural appropriation, many actual gamers simply wanted to hear Japanese characters speaking Japanese. Now, we’ve learned the game will include a full Japanese voice track, so you’ll get that full immersion to feudal Japan.
The news was confirmed later during this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo, during an IGN live show E3 preview of the title.
Ghost of Tsushima is currently in development for PlayStation 4.
