Despite the unexpected news of Final Fantasy XV director Tetsuya Nomura stepping down in order to focus on Kingdom Hearts III instead, Square Enix hasn’t lost any steam and have put out a new trailer for the game.
While Final Fantasy XV has been almost a decade in the making, I think the above trailer is definitely evidence of the game having some real potential to recapture that “classic Final Fantasy” experience. You know, the kind of experience that Bravely Default seemed to have wrangled.
Final Fantasy XV has no release date in sight, but a playable demo for the game is coming with Final Fantasy Type-0, when that game launches on March 17 in North America, March 19th in Japan, and on March 20th in Europe.
