Buzz Aldrin was a former U.S airforce combat pilot and former NASA Astronaut. During the Korean war, he flew over 66 combat missions and shot down 2 Mig-15 aircraft in his F-86 Sabre. His efforts in the airforce gave him a special opportunity to be selected by NASA as a pilot. On July 29, 1969, Buzz became the second man to walk on the moon with the crew of Apollo 11.
