This month’s CoroCoro magazine has given us the first details for Pokemon Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby, the remakes that are headed to the 3DS later this year.

Pictured above, you can see the male and female protagonists in the magazine. They’re both wearing the Mega Bangle complete with their keystones. Whoever you don’t choose will be a support character.

A new form of evolution was also shown dubbed “Primeval Devolution.” Examples were shown with the previously revealed Kyogre and Groudon forms, only now we know they’re a completely new form altogether. New mega evolutions were shown for Mega Diancie, Mega Sceptile (Grass / Dragon), and Mega Swampert.
The story in Alpha Sapphire and Omega Ruby will change depending on which version you go with. With Pokemon Omega Ruby, Team Magma is the enemy, while in Omega Sapphire, it’s Team Aqua.

Steven Stone will guide you in your journey. He seems to have a Mega Charizard X and is following the mystery of Mega Evolutions.
