We’ve gotten a look at Super Smash Bros. opening cinematic for Wii U, courtesy of IGN.

Featured above, you can press play and witness the entire roster of characters either fighting each other, or making their spectacular entrances to the play field. Some of these videos are from previous character reveals, and there’s also a lot of gameplay. It’s worth noting that Nintendo put out a gigantic Nintendo Direct for Super Smash Bros. on Wii U, alongside 50 core features that can be viewed and digested here.

To all my fellow veteran Smash Bros. players: how does this intro cinematic stack up against the previous games? I personally still think nothing can top Super Smash Bros. Melee‘s opening cinematic, but perhaps that’s just my nostalgia goggles talking. What do you guys think—and of course, who are you going to main in the game?
