Sekai Project is localizing Rosemary House’s gender-bending visual novel, Witch Boy Magical Piece.

The game features a quintet of five young boys who all (well, save for one) transform into girls and become witches, to combat deadly organisms known as “creatures,” which have begun attacking Earth. The concept of magic is reverse-engineered in Witch Boy, from the very creatures themselves.

As such, it’s somewhat unstable, and is currently reliant on the users aptitude for magic. The protagonist, Sakurai Hinata, is an average high schooler until he is bestowed with the ability to become a woman, and therefore, a witch.

Despite one boy having a low aptitude (and having to cross-dress), a feeling of camaraderie begins to develop amongst the witch boys – and maybe something further later on. Described as a “fighting BL” (boy’s love) game, this is sure to turn some heads.

A release date was not confirmed – but we do know Witch Boy Magical Piece is coming “fabulously soon” to PC.
