The Japanese language trailer was recently published on the Playstation Asia Youtube channel, and it sets the mood for the dystopian world within Freedom Wars. In the game, you’re a prisoner in a giant penal colony, sentenced to a sentence of a million years. In order to lower their sentence, the “sinners throw themselves into war for the sake of freedom.”

In Freedom Wars, enemies are ancient, gigantic, and mechanical, and Lilly is the “key to destiny and revolution,” however, she needs your help.

Freedom Wars is releasing on June 26th in Japan, and it has also been confirmed for a western release sometime later this year.
