Devolver Digital and developer 3D Realms have made the original Shadow Warrior entirely free on Steam.
The game sees the vengeful protagonist, Lo Wang, step into the Land of the Rising Sun to annihilate his enemies. The experience within is described as “total blood immersion,” and while sporting graphics like the original Doom, it’s hard to pass up a free classic like this.
The game has seen a reboot by developer Flying Wild Hog, which is also coming to current-generation consoles in September. It’s worth mentioning Flying Wild Hog is reportedly working on a brand new, fantasy FPS.
