MiHoYo have released a new Genshin Impact Yun Jin skills trailer, this time showing off the skillset of the newly added character.

Yun Jin is one of two new characters added in the gacha RPG’s 2.4 update, Fleeting Colors in Flight. She is the Director of Liyue’s famous Yun-Han Opera Troupe, and her performances are known across the city-state. While her interest in polearms was originally limited to improving her performances, Yun Jin has become an accomplished fighter.

Yun Jin is a 4-star Geo support character. Her Elemental Skill deals Geo damage around her, and then applies a shield that scales based on her max HP. This skill can be charged, which allows it to deal Geo damage when the shield breaks, similar to how Beidou’s skill works. Her Elemental Burst deals AoE Geo damage before applying the Flying Cloud Flag Formation buff. This increases the damage dealt by your party’s Normal attacks, and scales based on Yun Jin’s DEF stat.

One of Yun Jin’s Talents increases this damage bonus even further based on the number of different elemental types within your party. This encourages parties using Yun Jin to consist of four different elements instead of relying on resonance bonuses.

Yun Jin is now available as part of Genshin Impact‘s current limited time banner, The Transcendent One Returns. This banner also features Shenhe, the game’s brand new 5-star character.
